Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze together with his deputies held a presentation of major infrastructure projects planned for 2020-2021. The Mayor of Tbilisi addressed the audience and noted that the project implementation tenders will be announced in the nearest future.

He said they are working to prevent large-scale projects being implemented simultaneously to avoid discomfort to the population of the city.

“Today we will present only the major infrastructure projects the project documentation of which is ready and the only thing to do is to announce a tender and reveal the winning company. At the same time, we will work to ensure that these projects are not implemented simultaneously in order to avoid a collapse in the city. This may cause additional problems and discomfort to Tbilisi population. We will ensure timing and planning of these projects for minimizing works-related problems. We all agree that such large-scale projects can’t be implemented unless the works that precedes such large projects are fulfilled.
