Tbilisi City Hall wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

You are invited at the First Republic Square and Orbeliani Square from 25 December to 13 January.

Before the Main Christmas Tree is lit for the first time, at 20:00 on 25th of December, at the First Republic Square, we will take you on a journey in the past. The most beloved characters from children’s films come to life with well-known artists.

Traditionally, you are invited at the First Republic Square at 23:00 on the 31st of December on a gala concert where the beloved TV show Dead Ringers will be open air. Let’s greet the new year 2020 together!

In the first evening of the New Year the world-renowned musical project Max the Sax will perform before audience at 21:00 at the First Republic Square.

The final event of the New Year will be on the 13th January, at 20:00. Let’s celebrate the Orthodox New Year with our beloved singers – Stephane, Nino Katamadze, Lela Tsurtsumia, Nato Metonidze and Sopho Nizharadze.

 

  • First Republic Square (25 December - 13 January)

Santa Claus and his elves will welcome you in the magical town where diverse entertaining performances will take place: Juggler clowns and illusionists, show with chemical elements, diverse workshops for children, wind orchestra and drummers, fairy-tale readings, children movies, etc. (12:00-20:00)

On 5th and 10th January, the Little Prince will fly over Tbilisi. Air shows will start at 20:00

During the whole day many activities will take place for children: concerts, fairy-tale character performances and Christmas Tree decorations handcrafting workshops.


For the New Year Tbilisi Christmas Market will unite the projects Taste in the Streets of Tbilisi and Tbilisian Market.

 

  • Orbeliani Square (25 December - 13 January)

At the Orbeliani Suqare you will be greeted with magically illuminated Atoneli Street, with Chichilaki forest and lighting planet, Santa Clause house and ice rink.

During the whole day many entertaining programmes will be offered for children.

New Year exhibition-market, agricultural, wine and other product markets

You will also find here food places, public karaoke and musical performances by DJs.

 

Every night, at the First Republic Suqare, Georgians singing stars and musical bands, as well as DJs will give performances for you.
